Universities in Scotland generally have one main intake per year, though some institutions and programs may offer a second, smaller intake.
Main Intake (Autumn/Fall Semester): Starts in September and runs until December/January. Applications typically open the previous year, with deadlines often around January 15th for undergraduate programs through the UCAS system, and later (often throughout the spring/early summer) for postgraduate programs.
